(1,361 reviews) I had booked my preferred room in October of 2025 from my stay in February 2026\. Upon check in I was told that they "had to take a room out of service" and that my room was no longer available. I ended up staying in a different room. It was okay. The hotel is clean and pretty well maintained. My main issue was the noise, which I had hoped to reduce with my original room choice (room where the bed is separate from the main space away from the window and heater). Between the traffic, sirens, and heater coming on and off throughout the night, I had a terrible sleep. Parking was also an additional fee. I will book somewhere else next time. (645 reviews) The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.
